Job Description

This role offers a range of $57,000 to $65,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.

We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving manager at our plant location. The person in this role will be responsible for:

1. Providing leadership to the shipping and receiving department
2. Driving operational continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
3. Managing cycle count program to optimize warehouse accuracy
4. Working with internal plant support reps by providing clear, timely, & effective communication
5. Utilizing SAP & supporting shipping/receiving systems to accurately process orders
6. Compiling records of unfilled orders
7. Participating in TPM activities of the facility with a clear understanding of all KPI targets
8. Understanding current value stream to create improvement objectives for an ideal future state
9. Issuing written and oral instructions

Qualifications:

• Possess detailed knowledge of shipping processes and supporting documentation for global shipping via air, sea, and ground
• Possess a forklift license
• Demonstrate supervisory ability, with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Hold a minimum of an Associate's Degree and have at least 10 years of experience in an S&R environment
• Have 5 years’ experience in building, developing, and leading teams
• Demonstrate SAP experience
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Additional qualifications that are helpful:

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedures, and write reports and manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers
• Experience utilizing lean manufacturing tools
