Job summary

Quanex Building Products Corp. in Allentown, PA, is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Assistant. You will support the movement of finished goods, stock handling, and documentation to ensure accurate, timely shipping and receiving operations.

The role requires 1 year of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing setting, physical lifting, and ability to operate a forklift. The shift runs 10:00 am–6:30 pm with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in shipping and receiving in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to look up inventory locations in the computer system.
• Ability to perform physical functions (lifting at least 50 lbs repetitively).
• Ability to follow both written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Receives and stocks finished goods.
• Scans finished goods when received, stocked, moved, and shipped, verifying all information is accurate.
• Locates orders and pulls orders with a forklift.
• Safely loads trailers and secures loads.
• Enters and prints shipping documents (packing slips, B.O.L, etc.).
• Maintains clean, organized and safe work areas in accordance with company standards.

This position is responsible for working as part of a team in the moving of finished goods in and out of the facility in a safe, timely and efficient manner focusing on meeting the needs of both internal and external customers.

What Success Looks Like:
