Manpower Temecula is seeking a Shipping & Receiving associate in Menifee, CA. The role handles all shipping/receiving tasks, processes documentation with shipping software and Excel, and supports delivery logistics across multiple worksites.

The position requires forklift and pallet jack experience, knowledge of UPS/FedEx software, and a background check. The role operates on a day shift, with temp-to-hire potential.

Formación

• Forklift pallet and pallet jack experience required.
• Knowledge of shipping software including UPS and FedEx; proficient in Excel and PC skills.
• Drug & Background screen required.

Responsabilidades

• Receives, counts, checks and logs in raw materials, supplies, stock and vendor parts.
• Receives signed receipts for pickup or deliveries from carriers.
• Makes entries on receiving records noting exceptions, shortages or damages.
• Delivers incoming shipments to Receiving Inspector, Stock Room, or Requisitioner.
• Coordinates with preselected trucking companies for pickup and/or deliveries.
• Packages and weighs merchandise and creates packaging for unusual parts/materials.
• Completes all shipping forms and documents including bills of lading.
• Assists in loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
• Answers phones and pulls orders as required.
• Performs end-of-day processing of forms/documents; maintains Receiving PO file.
• Acts as back-up shuttle driver as needed.

Job Description

Responsibilities include all aspects of physical shipping and receiving as well processing documentation using shipping software and Excel.

Receives checks in and delivers merchandise; prepares for shipment all materials completes all necessary Shipping and Receiving documents.

Job Duties

• Receives counts checks and logs in raw materials supplies stock and vendor processed parts and/or materials.
• Receives signed receipts for pickup or deliveries from carriers.
• Makes entries on designated receiving records noting exceptions shortages or damages.
• Delivers incoming shipments to Receiving Inspector Stock Room or Requisitioner.
• Calls preselected trucking companies for pickup and/or deliveries.
• Wraps seals addresses and weighs merchandise creates packaging for unusual parts/materials.
• Completes all shipping forms/documents including bills of lading.
• Assists in loading and unloading of trucks when necessary.
• Answers telephones and pulls orders as required.
• Performs end-of-day processing of all forms/documents maintains Receiving Purchase Order file.
• Acts as back-up shuttle driver on emergency basis.
• Floats between three worksites. Will be required to work at several locations with no home base.
• Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment comply with safety procedures and regulations

Requirements of This Position

• Forklift pallet and pallet jack experience required
• Knowledge of shipping software to include UPS Fedex proficient in Excel and PC skills
• Drug & Background screen required
