Job summary

Valence is seeking a packaging associate in Garden Grove, CA, to prepare parts for shipment and ensure packing specifications are met. Responsibilities include measuring, weighing, counting items, documenting records, and sealing and labeling shipments.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, working on the 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12:00am), with a manufacturing environment background. ITAR considerations may apply; training provided.

• Ensure that all documentation is kept with the materials.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Seal containers or materials using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools.
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
• Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks.
• Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.).
• Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
