Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Grove, OK seeks a Shipping/Receiving Associate to handle incoming materials and verify shipment accuracy. You will unload, log, and label items, while assisting with returns as needed.

Responsibilities include inspecting for damages, documenting discrepancies, and operating forklifts or pallet jacks for loading and unloading. Adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards is required.

• 6 months shipping/receiving experience in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Receives/unloads incoming materials and verifies packing slip vs PO; may process returns.
• Sorts, counts, packages, labels, logs inventory for shipping/receiving.
• Inspects shipments for damages; records discrepancies and notifies supervisor.
• Operates dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift for loading/unloading.
• Follows safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

• Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
• May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment
• Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
