Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Minnesota is seeking a safety‑minded PIT operator to cube out vans, load units and materials, and support cross‑docking and shipping operations. You will follow standard work, adhere to safety plans, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to keep daily output flowing smoothly.

The role requires reading invoices and reports, operating MES, BAAN and Business Objects tools, and collaborating with maintenance, engineering and supply chain teams to resolve

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with related work experience.
• Ability to read invoices, packing slips, and reports to determine delivery location.
• Safe operation of PITs following company safety standards and lockout/tagout knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Cube out vans, load units and materials without damage.

Access and understand information of off systems/reports to determine appropriate action required (MES, BAAN, Business objects, shortage reports, etc.).PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAdheres to standard work, JBA¿s, control plans, work instructions and quality specifications. Works with support staff on keeping standard work documents current and relevant to defined output.Complies to safety parameters defined to protect equipment, facility, and co-workers in addition to support and participate in Continuous Improvement and capture daily Safety Interaction.Identify problems and implement fixes for common issues with the use of AMS tools and standards for continuous improvement concepts, and works with the support staff, management and maintenance on corrective action to resolution.Rotate as required through multiple duties (servicing lines, sorting, loading/ unloading, cross-docking, transporting material in the shipping process, van closing).
