Precision Castparts Corp. in Mentor, Ohio, is seeking a detail‑oriented shipping and receiving associate responsible for meeting daily shipment deadlines, coordinating trucking needs, and maintaining accurate documentation.
The role requires forklift operation certification and strong clerical/ computer skills to support production and logistics. You will work with Production Control, Sales, and Operations to plan weekly shipments, resolve shipment errors, and ensure compliance with safety rules
Ahigh school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and may be substituted by experience.
Minimum of 1-year experience in a shipping & receiving environment. Must be qualified and certified to operate a forklift truck (training provided). Clerical/Computer ability required.
Responsible for satisfying all quality and productivity requirements in the most cost-effective manner.
Schedule/coordinate customer shipments and trucking needs.
Work with management and quality to determine what is required for weekly shipment plans.
Work with Production Control/Sales to meet weekly customer commitments for casting sales.
Follow and enforce all safety rules.
