Meissner in Camarillo, CA is seeking a Shipping Operator to prepare outgoing shipments on-site at our headquarters. You will process orders, label items correctly, calculate postal charges, and help ensure shipments meet our quality standards.

The role requires basic computer skills, reading safety documents, and strong communication. You’ll lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally while operating forklifts and organizing inventory.

Qualificações

• Some shipping experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn basic computer skills is essential.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot shipping issues that arise and notify supervisor as needed of items that require additional attention.
• Inspect shipments to ensure they meet Meissner’s standards.
• Organizing items ready for shipment in appropriate areas.
• Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory.

This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.

US BASE PAY SCALE $18.25 - $23.00/hr

The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
