Spirit of ’76 Fireworks is seeking a Shipping Operations Supervisor in Boonville, MO. You will lead daily shipping activities, coordinate parcel and freight shipments, and ensure accurate, on-time order fulfillment while enforcing safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in shipping/logistics, supervisory experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. This role supports a fast-paced team in a warehouse setting.

Formación

• 3+ years in shipping, logistics or warehousing.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Knowledge of parcel, LTL and freight shipments.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations and hazmat rules.
• Experience with shipping documentation and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented leader with strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance, and the ability to improve operational efficiency while supporting a collaborative team environment.## QualificationsQualifications* 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehousing, or a related field preferred* Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred* Experience coordinating parcel, LTL, and other freight shipments* Knowledge of, or ability to learn, DOT, FMCSA, and hazardous materials transportation regulations* Experience maintaining shipping, transportation, and regulatory compliance documentation preferred* Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and shipping software preferred* Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills* Ability to supervise personnel, coordinate daily workloads, and support employee development* Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and resolve shipping discrepancies* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets* Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing operational needs in a fast-paced environment* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with warehouse personnel, carriers, vendors, and other departments* Commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvementWorking Conditions/Physical Requirements:* Must be able to carry, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds* Must be able to crouch, grasp, pull, kneel, stoop, and walk to perform certain job functions* Must be able to stand for up to 8+ hours* Work is performed in both office and warehouse environments, including prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer* May occasionally be exposed to high or low temperatures and outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind* May operate machinery and/or power tools* The incumbent will be exposed to hazardous fireworks materials* A reliable source of transportation to and from your home base
