Job summary

Bull Moose Tube is seeking an experienced Shipping Supervisor to oversee all shipping activities, supervise shift staff, and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant shipments. The role requires strong leadership, safety adherence, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

The position focuses on planning, prioritizing, and coordinating shipping operations, enforcing ISO and safety standards, and driving cost-conscious distribution improvements across the plant floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred Associate degree or technical school; equivalent work experience accepted.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
• Supervise shift employees and oversee a training schedule focused on productivity and knowledge.
• Review records to determine shipping priorities and methods to meet schedules.
• Plan work schedules, assign duties, and evaluate performance for accuracy and policy conformance.
• Ensure packaging meets specifications and proper handling of shipments.
