DANCO Distribution in Dallas, TX is seeking a Shipping Line Clerk to join our distribution team. You will check orders, create shipping documents, load outbound shipments, and ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within time constraints.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to lift/move at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Outgoing, team player, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Check outgoing orders against packing slips and invoices.
• Create bills of lading, shipping labels, etc.
• Load boxes and plumbing products from conveyor lines into outbound trucks and trailers.
• Verify shipment accuracy by matching products, quantities, and shipping labels to assigned routes or destinations.
• Maintain an organized and efficient conveyor line flow to prevent bottlenecks and shipping delays.
• Assist with palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and securing freight as needed.
• Communicate with supervisors and other warehouse personnel regarding shipment priorities, equipment issues, damaged product and other issues.
• Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy goals.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to OSHA standards and company safety procedures.
