Job summary

XCaliber Container is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Materials Associate in Texas. You will manage inbound/outbound shipments, verify documentation, and perform ERP transactions to support production schedules.

The role emphasizes safety, inventory accuracy, material traceability, and timely processing, with collaboration across Shipping, Receiving, Materials, Production, Purchasing, and Inventory Control teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to read part numbers, quantities, purchase orders, work orders, and shipping documentation.
• Experience using ERP systems for inventory and shipments.
• Able to operate forklifts and material-handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication with Production, Purchasing, Materials, Quality, and Logistics teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare finished goods, components, and other materials for shipment according to customer and company requirements.
• Verify items, quantities, part numbers, packaging, and shipping documentation prior to shipment.
• Pick, package, label, palletize, and stage outbound shipments.
• Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers and internal personnel for scheduled pickups.
• Load outbound trucks safely and verify shipments prior to departure.
• Complete shipping transactions accurately and promptly in the ERP system.
• Maintain organized staging areas to prevent shipment errors or product damage.
• Assist in investigating shipping discrepancies and correcting errors.
• Receive inbound materials, unload trucks safely, and verify against PO/receipts.
• Put away approved materials and ensure traceability across ERP transactions.
• Support FIFO and other inventory rotation practices.
