Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Shipping Material Handler to join our team.

This position will package, record, and ship products according to delivery schedules, ensuring on-time delivery. Responsibilities include core and casting preparation, boxing, completing route tickets and paperwork, filing final paperwork, operating forklifts, staging products for pickup, loading/unloading trucks, receiving deliveries, distributing materials, inspecting castings, supporting outsource tasks, assisting colleagues, and working overtime when needed. May also involve driving company vehicles to deliver castings to vendors or customers. Processing shipments via company database, customer portals, and shipping software is also required.

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively alone or in a team

• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of UPS and FedEx software is preferred

Experience

• One to two years of shipping and receiving experience preferred
• Experience with carpentry and hand tools is a plus

Salary

$20.00 - $25.00/hr based on experience
