Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Shipping Material Handler at our Chicago facility. You will move, stage, and load steel tube and pipe products, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety practices in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will operate forklifts and other equipment, pick and pack orders, and verify shipments while maintaining inventory accuracy and safe work areas. This role requires teamwork and reliable onsite attendance.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years of warehouse/material handling experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment and follow safety policies
• Basic math skills for order processing and inventory tracking

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, reach trucks and other warehouse equipment to move materials
• Pick, pack and stage customer orders for shipment
• Load finished products onto flatbed trailers or LTL carriers per specs
• Receive and inspect inbound materials; report damages or discrepancies
• Replenish warehouse stock and rotate inventory for proper flow
• Verify order accuracy using scanning tools and shipping documents
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe staging and shipping areas
• Complete shipping, inventory and equipment inspection documentation
• Maintain regular, full-time onsite attendance
