Job summary

Pilgrim’s Shipping Department is seeking a Shipping Manager to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced production environment. You’ll oversee operations across all shifts, coordinating shipping records, inventory control, loading/unloading, forklift operations, and shuttle drivers to ensure safety and accuracy.

The role focuses on driving continuous improvement through data analysis, maintaining quality, and ensuring a safe, productive workplace. Mondy–Friday schedule with weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have supervision experience in shipping and inventory control.
• Pallet jack/Forklift certification preferred.
• Computer skills.
• Soft skills.
• Physical demands may apply.

• Operate within USDA/HACCP guidelines.
• Promote a safe environment following state, federal and company safety standards.
• Produce products that meet or exceed the customers’ (internal and external) requirements and provide excellent customer service.

Shipping Manager

General Summary: We are looking for a Shipping Manager for Pilgrim’s Shipping Department.

Pilgrim’s is seeking Shipping Manager to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced production environment. You’ll oversee critical operations during all three shifts in shipping. You’ll manage and coordinate activities of employees engaged in preparing, verifying and maintaining records on all shipments, inventory control, loading/unloading trucks, forklift driving, and shuttle drivers. This role is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, animal welfare, sanitation, budgeting, and productivity while driving continuous improvement through data analysis and process coordination.
