Job summary

Monarch Technical Search is seeking a Shipping Manager to oversee the shipping and receiving department and perform hands-on work. Responsibilities include operating forklift, building crates, and preparing orders for shipment.

The role requires handling inbound and outbound shipments, cycle counts, labeling, and prioritizing deliveries. Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, starting Temp-to-Perm, with pay around $24–$25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Operate production packaging equipment to fulfill orders.
• Pick and pack customer requirements and prepare for shipping.
• Receive inbound shipments.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and include any returned products.
• Create shipping labels / UPC barcodes and product identification information.
• Transport finished products to shipping areas, build pallets and prioritize orders based on customer requirements and delivery schedules.

Job description

Shipping Manager who will oversee the shipping / receiving department along with being doing the hands on work. The duties include: Driving a forklift / building crates for shipping machines and components.

1. Will operate production packaging equipment to full fill orders
2. Will pick and pack customer requirements and prepare for shipping
3. Will receive inbound shipments
4. Will perform inventory cycle counts and include any returned products
5. Create shipping labels / UPC barcodes and product identification information
6. Will be transporting finished products to shipping areas, build pallets and be able to prioritize orders bases on customer requirements and delivery schedules

This will be a day shift position with hours from 8am to 4:30pm. Will start off on a Temp-to-Perm basis. Pay level will be around $24-$25/hr..
