Job summary

Saica Group seeks a warehouse supervisor at our Anderson, Indiana facility. You will organize dispatch of finished goods, receive raw materials, and ensure accurate inventory while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in logistics, forklift certification, and demonstrated team leadership. You will work on-site at our state-of-the-art facility, contributing to efficient operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Organize, coordinate and control the dispatch of finished products and the reception of goods and raw materials.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, equal opportunity and environment policies.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and perform periodic inventories.
  • Supervise dispatch documents and file handling.
  • Verify equipment readiness for barcode scanning and maintenance.
  • Support transport planning and logistics improvement.

Position Summary

Organize, coordinate and control the dispatch of finished products and reception of goods and raw materials while complying with deadlines and optimizing costs

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Group Quality, Safety, Equal Opportunity and Environment policies
  • Comply with, ensure compliance with, and promote safety standards and procedures
  • Keep warehouse clean and tidy (good housekeeping)
  • Ensure quality of products from the moment they enter the warehouses until they are dispatched
  • Check daily alarm clearance (inventory imbalances)
  • Ensure accurate inventory and carry out periodic inventories
  • Maintain product layout distribution as established by the organization. Special control of obsolete products
  • Verify and check that handling means (mainly forklifts) undergo periodic review and maintenance
  • Check availability of equipment for bar code scanning as well as their respective spare parts
  • Organize the necessary means such as personnel and handling means to ensure compliance with the transport plan
  • Guarantee the quality of information. Supervise the documents generated in each dispatch transaction
  • Receive and record items in external goods system: pallets, returns, finished products from external suppliers, etc.
  • Monitor the indicators established by Logistics Management
  • Take part in continuous improvement actions driven forward by Logistics Management with the goal of achieving set objectives
Minimum Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 2-3 years in similar sectors, movement of materials and mechanical means of a certain level of complexity
  • Experience in production management (plant planning or distribution tasks)
  • Training in logistics, warehousing and distribution
  • Team management experience
  • Forklift certification
  • Computer skills
  • Understanding of warehouse-specific hazard and safety processes
