Job summary

Belanger, Inc. in Livonia, MI is seeking a Shipping Associate to accurately pick, pack, label, and ship customer orders. You will work with production, sales, and logistics to meet timely order fulfillment, maintain inventory accuracy, and support quality control through proper documentation.

The role is a first shift, Monday through Friday with overtime as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience in a manufacturing warehouse, plus forklift experience and comfort with

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse roles in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical prints and work instructions.
• Experience with basic hand tools (saws, hammers, drills).
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and inventory software.
• Strong attention to detail under pressure and accurate data entry.
• Experience operating powered industrial trucks (forklift) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, and pack customer orders for shipment.
• Pull parts from inventory based on customer orders.
• Review technical prints to verify part specifications before shipment.
• Photograph items prior to packaging for quality documentation.
• Enter shipment data and generate labels using shipping software.
• Maintain accurate inventory records during picking and packing.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics to fulfill orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
