Job summary

Nice North America is seeking a self-motivated Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse department in Kent, WA. You will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, picking and shipping orders, and documenting orders with strong attention to detail. Location: 6705 S 209th St., Kent, WA 98032.

Schedule: Mon-Thu, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with occasional overtime. Pay: $24.00 per hour. You must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and operate forklifts and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics roles.
• Experience with freight carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL freight).
• Previous forklift experience/training.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and process product orders based on shipping backlog.
• Keep files of goods shipped by preparing regular shipping reports for managers.
• Utilize RF scanner to transfer materials from location to location.
• Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
• Trouble shoot shipping issues and work to solve them.
• Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods.
• Keep warehouse and workstations clean and neat.
• Other duties as assigned.
