Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Check rate cons for third party loads and check loads in Prophesy for the Fleet.
  • Ensure that the loads we communicate to third-party carries and Fleet drivers are correct.
  • Add Load #s, third party carrier names, and fleet driver names to the JVC Freight Sheet.
  • Communicate delays immediately to customers/receivers.
  • Reschedule loads in transit due to events such as breakdowns and weather delays.
  • Address issues in transit or at delivery locations, including seal issues and shipping errors.
  • Schedule all delivery appointments with customers.

Maintains information systems supporting plant production; coordinates and/or produces plant reporting requirements. Provides operational and project support to assigned manufacturing facility or plant(s); performs various support and reporting functions of routine or recurring nature for assigned manufacturing facility or plant(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS
  • Check rate cons for third party loads and check loads in Prophesy for the Fleet.
  • Ensure that the loads we are communicating to third-party carries and Fleet drivers are correct.
  • Add Load #s, third party carrier names, and fleet driver names to the JVC Freight Sheet.
  • Communicate any delays immediately to the customers/receivers.
  • Reschedule loads in transit as needed due to events such as breakdowns and weather delays.
  • Continually work on any other issues that may occur in transit or at any delivery locations. This includes events such as seal issues, customer complaints, receiver errors, driver/carrier errors, and shipping errors.
  • Schedule all delivery appointments with customers.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledge of temp controlled freight.
  • Knowledge of DOT e-log laws.
  • Strong ability to quickly solve problems.
  • Teamwork skills for working with multiple departments.
  • Requirement to be on call during nights and weekends.
