Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing in Sanford, FL is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping operations. You will assist with matching purchase orders to sales orders, prepare bills of lading, and ensure correct quantities, destinations, and routing.

You will record shipments in the company system, handle freight damage claims, assist in counting inventory, and help maintain shipping records. Strong communication, basic English literacy, and MS Office skills are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist shipping supervisor with matching purchase orders to sales orders.
• Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
• Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
• Handles freight damage claims to resolution.
• Assisting in counting of physical inventory.
• May maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping/receiving records. Assigned correct carrier to customer orders and ensure is correctly packaged.
