Job summary

Trulite in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Production Warehouse Shipping Loader on second shift to move glass and materials across the facility, read labels, inspect quality, and help ensure smooth product flow from tables, furnaces, racks and trucks.

This role is full time, requires standing long hours, lifting 75 lbs and up to 150 lbs with assistance, and the team-oriented environment values safety and reliability. OT may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs unassisted and up to 150 lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to communicate as a member of a team.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move glass from tables, furnace, racks, trucks, or crates for eight or more hours daily.
• Transport materials to expedite production flow.
• Read and attach labels and tags to product.
• Quality inspection and operation of equipment as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Emergency notification of issues to supervisor.

Who You Are:

You are a product moving master. You thrive in a team setting and want the team to succeed.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Move glass from, tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily
• Transport of materials, including glass from one position/location to another to expedite the production process
• Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to product
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment
• Understand layout of the facility to ensure proper product flow
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis
• Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues (fabrication issues, logo placement, etc.)
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job

Skills You Bring:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs unassisted and up to 150 lbs with assistance
• Must be able to push weights greater than 150 lbs with a team
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to communicate as a member of a team
• Must be able to follow instructionsMust possess good hand-eye coordination and be detail-oriented
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure
• All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production
• Flexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends)
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility, preferred
• Forklift experience a plus
• Overhead crane experience a plus
