Job summary

Global Finishing Solutions is seeking a Shipping Clerk II to move finished products to customers nationwide. You will stage materials, load shipments, and support safe, efficient operations to keep deliveries on schedule.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 2–4 years in shipping or warehouse roles, plus the ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and data systems like IFS or SharePoint. Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of shipping/warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate cranes, forklifts, and other mobile equipment.
• Experience with IFS, SharePoint, CrateTracker preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Find, pull, and stage crates, materials, and finished products using load lists and computerized systems.
• Load flatbed trucks, trailers, and vans to maximize space while protecting product quality.
• Use packing materials, methods, and equipment to support safe shipping operations.
• Operate pneumatic nail and spike guns per established safety standards.
• Prepare shipping materials with chop saws, radial arm saws, and yard saws.
• Move products and materials between buildings using company trucks and trailers.
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping flow, organization, and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate shipping processes meeting safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure on-time shipments.
