Job summary

McKee Foods is seeking a forklift truck operator to join our Shipping Department team at our Stuarts Draft, VA facility. The role involves replenishing pick lanes, loading/unloading trailers, operating pallets and conveyors, and maintaining WMS accuracy while supporting distribution orders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Replenish pick lane locations.
• Maintain accurate information in WMS.
• Communicate effectively with team members and primary customers.
• Load and unload trailers.
• Shrink wrap pallets.
• Load and unload cases onto conveyors for distributor orders.
• Operate pallet inverter for Food Service and freezer loads.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
• Perform a variety of lift truck assignments to support shipping operations.
• Clean and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Capable of reaching work goals with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN principles
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Lift Truck Operator license
• DMV Record must be obtained by the Safety Department
• Lift Truck vision screen must be completed by Employee Health Services and must meet Lift Truck standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and job experience with (WMS) Warehouse Management System
• Previous lift truck operator experience
• Previous shipping experience
