Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in shipping or related fields.
- High School diploma or equivalence.
Responsibilities
- Instruct and train shipping personnel in equipment care and safe operation.
- Review records to ensure proper use of time and materials; inspect products for quality.
- Maintain equipment in good operating condition.
- Promote interdepartmental communication and cooperation.
- Maintain a safe working environment through safety policies and meetings.
- Occasionally cover for sick or vacationing staff.
- Plan and adjust work assignments to cover shipping phases.
- Keep the work area clean.
- Ensure compliance with company policies (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety).
- Perform other duties as directed.
