Job summary

Distribution Management is seeking a dependable warehouse associate to support daily operations at our Missouri distribution center. You will perform pre-shift checks, assist supervisors with prioritization, and ensure accurate order picking for shipment.

The role requires standing/walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and strong English communication. Workplace safety, SOP adherence, and a collaborative team approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Punctual with good attendance.
• Stable work history in a distribution center or warehouse.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete the pre-shift checklist (e.g., turn on chucks, gather supplies and materials).
• Coordinate with supervisor to assign daily priorities and participate in shift meetings.
• Identify root causes of exception and QC diverts with supervisor.
• Communicate all performance issues to the supervisor.
• Inspect outbound shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Track quality variances and recommend process improvements.
• Mentor new employees with on-site trainer.
• Ensure SOPs and DC policies are followed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Adhere to dress code and security requirements.
• Support safe operations per OSHA and related standards.
• When volume demands, pick and assemble customer orders for shipment.
