Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a forklift operator for the Kansas City area. The role requires operating electric forklifts and pallet jacks, handling shipments, and maintaining a safe, clean work area while following food safety guidelines.

Starting pay is competitive and includes shift differential and comprehensive benefits. The successful candidate will complete required GMP/HACCP training within 90 days, be P.I.T.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must complete Orientation, GMP and HACCP training.
• P.I.T. Trained required; safety procedures learned before operating equipment.
• LOTO and Ergonomics training completed or in progress.

Responsabilités

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks; lift, stack and move product safely.
• Prepare records of shipments and receipts; verify quantities.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and adhere to food safety programs.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team to execute shipping plans.
