RectorSeal is seeking a Shipping Lead to supervise daily shipping operations at our Earth City, MO facility. This on-site role runs 7:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed. You will lead associates, coordinate workflow, and ensure orders ship safely, accurately, and on time.

Responsibilities include training staff, resolving errors, maintaining safety, and tracking KPI metrics such as lines shipped and shipment accuracy. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Competenze

• 3+ years of recent warehouse or distribution center experience.
• 3+ years of recent experience operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, walkie riders, and order selectors.
• Understanding of Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping documentation, and freight paperwork.

Job Overview:

The Shipping Lead is responsible for supporting daily shipping operations by leading associates, coordinating workflow, and ensuring customer orders are shipped safely, accurately, and on time. This role helps drive productivity, quality, and safety while serving as a floor leader for the shipping team. This is an on-site hourly position and will require a daily presence at our RectorSeal Earth City, MO facility, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Requirements:

• Prior leadership or lead experience.


• Basic computer and WMS experience.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
