Job summary

Gildan is seeking a Stock Specialist for the 2nd shift to support shipping operations at our Martinsville facility. You will troubleshoot shipment issues, coordinate with scheduling and IT to ensure cartons reach the correct destinations, and identify SKUs needed to complete loads.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure, and readiness to drive equipment as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under time pressure.
• Familiarity with PKMS or warehouse management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and determine problems impacting shipment loads.
• Coordinate with scheduling, traffic and IT to facilitate delivery of cartons to Shipping.
• Identify SKUs and cartons necessary to complete shipment loads.
• Reprint Shipping labels for recalled cartons.
• Assist Jackpot operators at Sorter and Ship Pick to Belt in problem identification and resolution.
• Must drive equipment.
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

Summary Of Position:

• Troubleshoot and determine the problems inpacting completion of shiipment loads.
• Work with scheduling, traffic and IT to faclitate delivery of cartons to Shipping.
• Correct and direct problem cartons to shipping locations.
• Identify SKU's and cartons necessary to complete shipment load.
• Reprint Shipping label for recalled cartons.
• Assist Jackpot operators at both Sorter and Ship Pick to Belt in problem identification and resolution.
• Other Duties As Required By Supervisor.
• MUST DRIVE EQUIPMENT

Minimum Experience Required:

• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills. Must be able to interact positively with employees at all levels and under a variety of conditions.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication/presentation skills, verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to perform with minimal supervision.
• Strong resolution skills required for resolving daily inaccuracy issues. Must be able to work well under time constraints.
• Knowledge of PKMS
