Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Logistics Center Technician for our Bedford, Ohio site. The role involves shipping, receiving, inventory and general warehouse tasks with a focus on accurate processing and strong customer service for internal and external customers.

You will prepare shipments, select containers, process bills of lading, and use scan guns. Responsibilities include receiving, packing, inspecting shipments, and assisting with maintenance in a secure, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally; moderate physical effort.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipments for postal or commercial conveyance; determine economical shipping method.
• Select appropriate shipping container; pack items securely for delivery.
• Prepare bills of lading; verify quantities and destinations against work orders.
• Use scan gun to receive and pick items in shipping process.
• Assist in basic kit formation based on customer requirements.
• Receive and unload materials; compare packing slips with purchase orders; escalate discrepancies.
• Deliver items; obtain authorized signatures for accepted items.
