Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments; inputs data into ERP.
• Compares information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or records.
• Determines shipment method; arranges carrier services as needed.
• Affixes shipping labels and marks cartons with shipping information.
• Assembles containers and packs items with padding and spacers.
• Operates equipment to move shipments to storage or work areas; stacks and ties crates.
• Unpacks, inspects, and reports damaged goods; coordinates with shippers to resolve issues.
• Participates in inventory counts to maintain accuracy.
• Routes items to manufacturing kanban areas and internal departments.
• Pulls and kits parts for assembly teams.
