CMC is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor in Texas to lead rebar production, inventory control, and safe, efficient operations across facilities. The role requires coordinating with supervisors, managing schedules, and driving lean processes while ensuring SAP workflows and shipping accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in industrial management, strong people skills, and a track record of improving throughput.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years management experience in industrial/manufacturing
• Strong management skills and experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Responsabilités

• Leads rebar/merchant bar straightening, shearing, loading activities, and inventory control
• Responsible for rebar processing, shearing, truck/rail loading, and inventory management
• Actively participate and assist in leading team with CMC Safety Programs and uphold the CMC Safety Culture
• Audit, manage and improve material throughput
• Plans departmental work schedule and production sequences to meet production schedules and sales needs
• Monitors production levels to ensure employees are productive and meet production schedules
• Coordinate production activities within or between departments
• Works in SAP to transfer material and produce shipping documents
• Observes lean and industry production methods to meet standards
• Establishes departmental goals with clear work plans
• Enforces all company policies including safety and government safety regulations

What You'll Do

• Leads rebar/merchant bar straightening, shearing, loading activities, and inventory control
• Responsible for rebar processing, shearing, truck/rail loading, and inventory management
• Actively participate and assist in leading team with CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture (Take 2, Observation Cards and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE))
• Audit, manage and improve material throughput
• Plans departmental work schedule and production sequences to meet production schedules and sales needs
• Monitors production levels on a continuous basis to insure employees are productive and striving to meet production schedules
• Works with other supervisors to coordinate production activities within or between departments
• Works in SAP to transfer material and produce shipping documents ensure proper shipping practices
• Observes ongoing production activities to insure lean and industry production methods are used
• Makes sure quality assurance and customer requirements meet industry and customer standards
• Must be able to establish departmental goals, both financial and non-financial, with clear work plans
• Enforces all company policies including safety and government safety regulations

What You'll Need

• Minimum of 5 years management experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated strong management skills and experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to motivate and organize multiple efforts to accomplish goals
• Ability to direct others to complete tasks efficiently and safely
• Strong focus on positive work culture and employee engagement
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with excellent work ethic, attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be able to learn quickly and multitask

Your Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
