Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare paperwork for shipments (BOL, manifest, dock audits, etc.) ensuring product identification matches in terms of weight, piece counts, identified parts, packaging requirements, and method of delivery.
• Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
• Accurately create labels and shipping paperwork (BOL, manifest, dock audits, etc.) and affix shipping labels on packaged product.
• Operate forklift to move product/shipments.
• Record the proper information on required process paperwork, charts, check lists, or other control sheets.
• Upload shipping related documentation to systems and file any hardcopies as needed to ensure compliance.
• Maintains a professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external customers and represents the organization in a positive manner.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Performing other duties or functions as requested by management.
