Job summary

Amcor in Fremont, OH, is hiring a Shipping Handler to maintain the flow of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and supplies. You will work a 12-hour night shift, loading/unloading trailers, using SAP, and ensuring safe, organized dock areas.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers of materials and goods.
• Prepare and print picklists, load lists, and truck lists using SAP.
• Inspect shipments and trailers for damage, cleanliness, or contamination.
• Stage outbound shipments according to BOL and pick lists.
• Seal, secure, and wrap materials as needed.
• Label inbound materials and store properly.
• Operate RF scanners for inventory tracking.
• Maintain clean, safe dock and warehouse areas.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Support plant operations as directed by supervisor.
• Follow safety, GMP, and Food Safety procedures.

Location: Fremont, OH

Pay: $20.06–$23.73/hour + $0.50/night shift premium

• Overtime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week

Schedule: 12-hour 2-2-3 straight night shift (6:55pm– 7:10am)

• Work 3–4 days per week with schedules provided a full calendar year in advance

Join Amcor as a Shipping Handler and play a key role in maintaining the flow of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and supplies while keeping our warehouse and dock areas organized and safe. Your work ensures smooth operations and helps deliver high-quality packaging to our customers worldwide.

What You’ll Do

• Load and unload trailers of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, supplies, and equipment
• Prepare and print picklists, load lists, and truck lists using SAP
• Inspect shipments and trailers for damage, contamination, or cleanliness
• Stage outbound shipments according to assigned BOL and pick lists
• Seal, secure, stretch wrap, and/or band materials as needed
• Label inbound materials accurately and store in proper locations
• Operate RF scanners for inventory tracking and location updates
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized dock and warehouse areas
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Support plant operations as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor or team leader
• Follow all safety, GMP, Food Safety, and operational procedures
