Job Description: Shipping General Help

Specializing in trailer loading, this role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and efficient loading of products onto trailers, following load sheets, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

1. Move products from packaging lines to trailers or staging areas.
2. Maintain organization in product staging areas and lines.
3. Load products onto trailers, ensuring proper stacking and damage prevention.
4. Remove out-of-code products, check date and price codes, and label accordingly.
5. Keep work areas clean and organized, including Bond St. Platform, private label dock, D-Center loading area, and tray area.
6. Assist other shipping employees as a break person on various lines and platforms.
7. Unload inbound products on the platform.
8. Complete paperwork accurately, including load sheets and block sheets.
9. Perform trailer checks, including cleaning and damage inspection, and report findings.
10. Inform supervisors about inventory of trays and equipment.
11. Coordinate with packaging staff to ensure correct product counts and trailer paperwork reconciliation.

Safety and Sanitation

• Follow safety guidelines and report incidents.
• Promote safety in all operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow GMPs.

Requirements & Physical Demands

• High School Diploma.
• Basic math skills and ability to read department materials.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Reach approximately 7 feet high.
• Ability to move throughout the plant and assess product quality.
