Job summary

Buckhorn is seeking a motivated, team-oriented forklift operator to load products for shipping and count inventory for verification. The role emphasizes high-quality, safe work practices and continuous improvement in our processes.

Responsibilities include driving a forklift, pulling orders, loading trailers, and ensuring accurate inventory. OSHA-compliant safety and ability to follow emergency procedures are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Forklift certification is required or must be obtained if not present.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training is preferred.
• Warehouse, forklift, and/or shipping experience is preferred.
• Computer proficiency (Word and Excel) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive an industrial forklift according to standard operating procedure.
• Supply finished material to conversion area for special orders.
• Pull orders for shipping.
• Load trailers with correct product.
• Comply with all safety measures before loading a truck (i.e., wheel chocked).
• Count finished product to verify inventory.
• Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following Buckhorn policies and OSHA Standards.
• Know procedures to follow in emergencies such as injuries, water or gas leaks, or power failures.
