Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is hiring a Forklift Operator - Shipping for our Northlake, TX distribution center. You will operate a range of forklifts and equipment to load and move products, process orders, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to distribution center procedures, with opportunities to cross-train and grow within a global tool leader.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required with 1–2 years forklift experience.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Knowledge of distribution center methods and procedures.
• Ability to read work orders and determine material needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate dock stockers, reach trucks, turret trucks, and forklifts to load and transport products within the warehouse.
• Complete orders in a timely manner by processing pick tickets, pallet picking, and shuttling pallets for final order processing.
• Interact with management software systems and label printers; read work orders or receive instructions to determine assignments and material needs.
• Perform physical activities including lifting, walking, stooping, and handling up to 50 lbs; operate a stand-up forklift for a full shift.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by scanning parts and keeping the area clean and safe.
• Support cross-training in other distribution center functions and perform daily forklift inspections.
