Indiana Packers Corporation seeks reliable individuals for the Shipping Department. Responsibilities include sorting and Palletizing products, loading semitrucks, and operating a forklift in a cold storage environment. Overtime and Saturdays are required; shifts vary by team.

Requirements include 18+ years old, forklift/pallet jack experience preferred, ability to lift heavy boxes, and adherence to safety and PPE protocols. Training is provided for non-certified applicants.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• Forklift-certified preferred; able to operate forklift and pallet jack safely; training provided if not certified
• Experience with inventory control procedures preferred
• Able to lift 50–100 lbs and stack boxes up to 100 lbs
• Rehire criteria: 120 days waiting period; not eligible if worked for IPC 3 times
• Willing to work in cold, wet, humid environments and stand for long periods
• Able to learn barcode handheld scanner and use PPE
• Follow English instructions and company policies; pass physical and drug screen on offer

Responsabilités

• Receive, sort and stock products into pallets; scan boxes, tag pallets, and store in cold storage
• Use forklift to move products from cold storage to semitrucks for distribution
• Perform physically demanding tasks in extreme cold; maintain safety and accuracy
• Identify safety risks and report incidents to supervisor or lead
• Collaborate with coworkers, supervisors and managers to maintain a positive work environment
