Job summary

SugarCreek Packing Co. in Indiana is seeking a reliable forklift operator to load, unload, and move product in a fast‑paced warehouse.

You will operate a standup counterbalance forklift safely under the direction of the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and coordinate with truck drivers to ensure proper loading for shipment or storage. Responsibilities include inspecting trailers, charging forklift batteries, using RF equipment and E-SHIP, and assisting with packing and tempering prep as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, preferably stand-up models.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate standup counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Receive and follow instructions from Shipping/Receiving Supervisor regarding movement and loading of products.
• Operate forklift and manage battery charging.
• Inspect trailers before loading/unloading.
• Load and unload trailers in a safe manner.
• Use RF equipment and E‑SHIP to process shipments.
