Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Willard, OH is seeking a Shipping / Warehouse Forklift Operator to move material using forklift, clamps, and related equipment.

You will load and unload from trucks and railcars, perform safety checks, and use internal tracking systems. Overtime opportunities are available with a starting rate of $19.75 and an extra $2.00 for 2nd/3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and retain Forklift Operator License through Lakeside Book Company.
• Prior forklift or Roll Clamp experience preferred.
• Must be willing to work daily/weekly overtime as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment Drug Screen and Background (external candidates).

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift truck to lift, stack, and move material with devices like forks or clamps.
• Operate Manual Tugger or VNA Crane as needed.
• Load or unload products from trucks and railcars using forklift or roll clamp.
• Follow lift truck safety guidelines and perform safety checks.
• Use a computer to access COMN and Load Tracking Systems.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in the work area.

Job description

Starting Rate: $19.75 (additional $2.00 for 2nd/3rd shift)

Work Hours: 3 Shift Rotation Schedule (rotates every 6 weeks); 7AM-3PM; 3PM-11PM; 11PM-7AM, Weekends as required

Location: Willard, OH

As a Shipping / Warehouse Forklift Operator you will:

• Drive forklift truck equipped with lifting devices such as fork, clamp, or trailer hitch to push, lift, stack, tier or remove material.
• Drive Manual Tugger or VNA Crane as needed.
• Load or unload product from trucks and railcars using Forklift or Roll Clamp.
• Follow all lift truck safety guidelines and perform safety checks on lift trucks.
• Use a computer to utilize the internal company COMN and Load Tracking Systems.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in work area.
