Role Description

Keeprite Refrigeration, Inc. is currently looking for a Shipping & Forklift Operator in the Longview, TX area. The job responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to...

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping instructions.
• Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain warehouse organization, keeping work areas clean and safe.
• Use scanners, inventory systems, and shipping software to prepare shipments and update records.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and warehouse policies.
• Work with team members and carriers to ensure on-time shipments.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics is required.
• Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs. and work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
  
• Experience with shipping software (UPS, FedEx, etc.) is preferred.
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
