Job summary

Shepherd Electric Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate in the Shipping Department to ensure outbound orders are accurate, properly documented, and staged for timely delivery.

You will coordinate with warehouse teams, verify documentation, and maintain safety and organization on the shipping dock. The role emphasizes ownership, attention to detail, and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift or pallet jack certification required or obtainable within 30 days.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer tools (Excel, email) preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Pre-employment screening requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Pull, verify, and stage outbound orders with accuracy.
• Ensure shipping docs are complete and accurate before dispatch.
• Coordinate with counter sales and dispatch on priority orders.
• Maintain organized, safe shipping area and report hazards.
• Assist onboarding of new shipping team members.
