Job summary

United Talent Staffing is seeking an experienced Shipping Dock Worker for a warehouse facility in the Clarksburg area. You will participate in daily shipping and receiving operations, loading trailers, staging products, and operating forklifts.

Responsibilities include safely loading/unloading, verifying labels and quantities, inspecting shipments, and ensuring pallets are stacked and wrapped correctly. A minimum of one year forklift experience and ability to read packing slips are required;

Job description

United Talent Staffing is seeking an experienced Shipping Dock Worker for a warehouse facility in the Clarksburg area. This position supports daily shipping and receiving operations, including loading trailers, inspecting shipments, staging products, and operating forklifts.

Pay and Schedule

• $14.00 per hour
• 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
• Clarksburg, WV

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing trailers.
• Verify shipping labels, packing slips, pallet quantities, and case counts.
• Inspect trailers, cartons, products, and packaging for damage or quality concerns.
• Ensure pallets are properly stacked and shrink-wrapped.
• Stage products and materials for shipment.
• Operate a sit-down forklift, electric pallet jack, and push/pull attachments.
• Use scanners to accurately track and control inventory.
• Complete required forklift inspections before each shift.
• Confirm trailers are properly chocked before loading or unloading.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and quality standards.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• At least one year of forklift operating experience is required.
• Experience with sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
• Previous shipping dock, staging, or warehouse experience.
• Ability to read shipping labels, packing slips, and inventory information.
• Knowledge of basic quality-control procedures and safe lifting practices.
• Ability to safely perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
• Dependable attendance and attention to detail are required.
