Job summary

United Talent Staffing in New Martinsville, WV seeks Loaders/Dock Workers for an immediate full-time opportunity on a contract-to-perm basis. You'll assist in a fast-paced warehouse by loading/unloading, wrapping shipments, and moving materials with pallet jacks and forklifts.

Candidates should be able to stand all shift, lift 25–50 lbs, read a tape measure, and follow safety rules. On-site training, weekly pay, and benefits are provided; background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Stand for the full shift and lift 25–50 lbs regularly.
• Read a tape measure and follow written instructions.
• Be dependable with good attendance and able to pass background checks.
• Must be at least 18 years old and wear closed-toe shoes.

Job Responsibilities

• Load and unload windows, doors, and building materials from trucks.
• Wrap and prepare products for shipment.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment (training provided as applicable).
• Verify orders and ensure shipments are accurate.
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Pay & Schedule

• $13.00 per hour
• Monday-Thursday – Afternoon shift (noon start time)
• Occasional Friday shifts based on production needs
• Overtime required as needed to meet production demands

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and work for the entire shift.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to push and pull loaded carts.
• Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
• Must be able to read small print and follow written instructions.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
• Must be dependable with good attendance.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Closed-toe shoes are required.
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen. (Previous convictions do not automatically disqualify applicants.)
