Job summary

Lutron Electronics, Ashland, VA, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in our Shipping Department to support efficient order fulfillment and material movement. You will join a climate-controlled facility and contribute to a smooth, safe operation.

Responsibilities include operating powered industrial equipment, RF scanning, inventory transactions, and collaboration with supply chain teams to process customer orders accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to operate powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Become certified to operate powered industrial equipment (pallet riders, order pickers, forklifts).
• Drive a box truck as needed.
• Use RF technology to pick, pack, ship, receive and stock materials.
• Deliver material to production lines in a timely manner.
• Learn and use the inventory system and enter transactions.
• Coordinate with supply chain and distribution teams on orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Become certified to operate Powered Industrial Equipment (such as electric pallet riders, order pickers, and forklifts, etc.)
• Drive a box truck
• Utilize RF technology to perform distribution functions such as picking, packing and shipping orders, receiving, put away and stock replenishment
• Deliver material to production lines in a timely manner
• Learn and use our inventory management system and enter materials transactions
• Work with our supply chain and distribution teams to process customer orders
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Have a valid Driver’s License
• Ability to drive a box truck
• Desire to learn how to operate Powered Industrial Equipment (such as electric pallet riders, order pickers, and forklifts, etc.)
• Ability to work 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
• Ability to regularly lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to move to surrounding workstations and to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English
• Ability to work safely, wear appropriate PPE, and follow safety procedures
