Job summary

SourceNow is hiring Furniture Production & Shipping Associates to support the preparation, packing, wrapping, movement, and shipment of high-quality furniture. This hands-on role may support multiple areas of the operation, including furniture prep and wrapline, white-glove packing, casegoods unloading, and shipping/warehouse activities.

Responsibilities include preparing, wrapping, and packing, applying protective materials, loading/unloading, and ensuring items are correctly scanned and staged

Qualifications

  • Ability to read tickets, instructions, and packing specifications in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify different furniture products and parts.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.

Furniture Production & Shipping Associate

Job Summary

We are hiring Furniture Production & Shipping Associates to support the preparation, packing, wrapping, movement, and shipment of high-quality furniture. This hands-on role may support multiple areas of the operation, including furniture prep and wrapline, white-glove packing, casegoods unloading, and shipping/warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, wrap, pack, and unpack furniture and casegoods for shipment using proper white-glove handling techniques.
  • Apply foam, batting, corner protection, and other packaging materials to protect furniture during transportation.
  • Load and unload furniture from trucks and containers using hand trucks, pallet jacks, conveyors, and team lifting techniques.
  • Move and stage furniture throughout the warehouse and production areas.
  • Scan tickets, read packing slips, and verify furniture is going to the correct location.
  • Inspect furniture for damage or defects and report concerns to the supervisor.
  • Follow prep, pack, trim, build, and shipping specifications.
  • Use hand tools such as staple guns, glue guns, drills, screwdrivers, hammers, rubber mallets, and other equipment as required.
  • Accurately count, measure, weigh, label, and record furniture and shipping information.
  • Work with other departments to ensure orders are complete and ready for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures, proper lifting techniques, and PPE requirements.
  • Perform daily stretching exercises and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous furniture, upholstery, packing, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read tickets, instructions, and packing specifications in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify different furniture products and parts.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours.
  • Frequently lift and handle 35–100 lbs.; heavier items require team lifting.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive hand movements.
  • Ability to safely move and position furniture using material-handling equipment.
  • Comfortable working with hand tools throughout the shift.
  • Indoor, controlled-airflow manufacturing and warehouse environment.
