Job summary

Compressed Air Systems, LLC in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Shipping Crating Technician to safely prepare, crate, and ship products. This role requires operation of a forklift, basic saw work, and use of pneumatic tools while meeting tight deadlines.

You will assemble wood crates, protective packaging, and crates for LTL shipments, with on-the-job training and provided tools. The position follows a Monday–Thursday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Positive attitude and ability to follow instructions.
• Requires adherence to strict safety and compliance standards.
• Basic hand tools provided and training offered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare finished products for shipping including final prep.
• Crate and box finished products for LTL shipments.
• Assemble premade protective packaging.
• Build wood crates to protect shipments.
• Safely operate saw to cut lumber to length.
• Safely use pneumatic tools: nail gun, staple gun, impact wrench.
• Operate forklift to place products on pallets.
• Lift heavy packages and work safely.
