Job summary

Nucor is seeking an Order Fulfillment Specialist to assemble kits and prepare parts for shipment using UPS and FedEx systems. You will pull parts, verify orders, and complete related electronic transactions in the warehouse management system before parts leave the area.

Minimum qualifications include a 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm), strong communication, ability to lift 50-75 pounds, and experience with pallet jacks or forklift. SAP knowledge is a plus and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Ability to lift 50 - 75 pounds frequently.
• Ability to squat, kneel and stand frequently.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklift for material handling purposes.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow computerized instructions for pick and packing work order items.
• Gather parts for shipment ensuring the type and quantity of parts match the order, inspect product and remove defective parts; record and document parts for shipment; package parts according to the order; create tracking labels; move order to delivery area.
