Job summary

Hayward Holdings Inc. in North Carolina seeks an experienced Shipping Supervisor to coordinate floor work, monitor bottlenecks, and drive safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will lead a small team, ensure accurate material handling, operate RF/WMS and AS400, and maintain quality while meeting daily targets. Forklift certification and strong English/basic math skills are required.

Qualifications

• Prior distribution experience.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Must read and write English and comprehend basic math.
• Must have basic PC skills with Microsoft Office, WMS, AS400.
• Able to be Forklift certified by Hayward Industries for sit down lift, stock picker, reach truck, and Bendi.
• Cannot have a fear of heights.
• Excellent attendance and ability to work overtime are both required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work on floor, report bottlenecks and assist in keeping workflow.
• Must be familiar with all functions of distribution operations.
• Must be familiar with RF/WMS equipment and AS400 applications.
• May be required to unload/load trucks and move materials between storage and designated areas.

Responsibilities include all material handling aspects in Shipping – receipts, stocking, picking, auditing, etc.Major Tasks and Responsibilities:· Under the general direction of Supervisor and/or Department Manager, coordinates work on floor, reports bottlenecks and assists in keeping the work flow going in a specific area in order to meet department and company Safety, Quality, Service, and Costs goals.· Must be familiar with all functions of distribution operations.· Must be familiar with RF/WMS equipment and AS400 applications.· Must be able to research and troubleshoot issues.· May be required to unload/load trucks, conveying material from storage or staging to designated areas.· Able to count locations and use a calculator accurately.· Available to work extended hours or other shifts during peak season or as needed.· Lift heavy objects by hand or with assistance; insures clean work area, machines, and equipment in support of Safety and 5S.· Monitoring productivity – evaluate hourly progress against daily targets of team members.· Training – Ensure procedures are followed and understood. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to operate a forklift, sit down lift, stock picker, reach truck, and Bendi safely.Work Environment:The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
