Gertens Family of Businesses in Minnesota is seeking a Shipping Specialist to maintain precise records for incoming and outgoing shipments, verify bills of lading and invoices, and support daily warehouse operations.

This full-time role runs Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm with overtime during peak seasons; candidates should be detail-oriented, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to collaborate across teams while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1 year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with barcoding and automatic data collection preferred.
• Ability to work overtime or irregular hours when needed.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Verify and maintain accurate records for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Receive and examine incoming shipments and resolve discrepancies with shippers.
• Pull and prepare daily orders for e-commerce, retail, and commercial shipments.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular audits and tracking.
• Ensure outgoing shipments meet specifications and are prepared for delivery.
